After an initial conversation several months ago, we got to meet in person last week. I worked with Kevin’s sister at clinic and had done photos for fun of her family and cutie little twin girls. And then Kevin and Sarah reached out to see if I’d photograph their wedding in fall of 2016 – wait, what?!?!? At this time in my life I’m trying my best to set anxieties aside and go all in for new adventures. I somewhat (*extremely*) nervously said Yes. And after having met them, soooo glad I did. This promises to be a good time. Once my jitters calm down. 😉
Waterfalls have a special place in their hearts. So much so, that they’ve chosen their wedding venue outside of Milwaukee near one that is extra meaningful to them. We decided to incorporate that theme into their engagement photos, and they willingly obliged when I suggested a drive to Governor Dodge State Park, well over an hour for them.
So these two are up for anything. Maybe it’s that mechanic + neuropsychologist adventure and intuition.
Climb up those boulders? Sure. Walk along that ledge? Why not. Splash in the frigid water and freeze your toes? Of course! Smooch in extra tall, scratchy grass? Yes.
Thanks you guys! Hope you had as much fun as I did.
